Norwegian black metal tyrants 1349 reveal the new track "Dødskamp". This piece is the first new music from the quartet since 2014's 'Massive Cauldron of Chaos' album.
"Dødskamp" is part of a collection of four tracks spanning multiple genres commissioned by the Munch Museum in conjunction with Innovasjon Norge and Visit Norway. The aim is to have each musical artist give their sonic interpretation of an Evdard Munch work that they were free to select. "Dødskamp" is thus directly inspired by Munch's art piece of the same name.

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end.
